The Global Art Project is a grass roots volunteer effort. The Volunteer Staff at our home base in Tucson plus many additional Tucsonans and others around the world have donated countless hours to make the Global Art Project a success.

If you'd like to join our network of volunteers, please complete a volunteer form and send it to us. If you live in Tucson, we could use help with administration and with stringing together the paper hands for Let's All Join Hands. If you live in another location, we could use your help as a Regional Coordinator. On this page is a list of Regional Coordinators and information about their work as part of the Global Art Project. We could also use your help with fundraising and public relations. We'd love to have you join us!

Lora Miklethun has been an administrative volunteer with the Project since 1996. Lora helps with data entry and numerous other aspects of keeping the Project going.

Steve Godwin donates tech help for the Project's website and database. Steve’s a joy to work with because of his ever-ready wit and humor.

Kasia Bilhartz is our Facebook Administrator. She lives on a small farm near Portland, Oregon, with her husband, and small menagerie of animal companions, most notably, a very smart and sassy pig named Fay. When not busy with studies and farm chores, Kasia works in her garden, tinkers in the metal-art studio, and explores the majestic forests of the Columbia River Gorge. She has participated in the GAP exchange for over a decade, and the heart-felt connections made through the exchanges over the years inspired her to get more involved with the GAP mission of creating global unity through art.
