Create Arts Center Group with the direction of teacher Mrs. Clark
Newport, Washington, USA

“Mrs. Clark collaborated with young artists in the after school program at Create Arts Center in Newport WA. They used cut and torn paper to create a richly textured peace sign. When the young boy cut his hand shape, it was added to the design for a personal touch.”

Create Arts Center art for peace was sent to Kelly's House Kids Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Note to the Global Art Project for Peace from Joyce Weir coordinator for Create Arts Center’s Global Art Project exchange:

“Thank you so much! This was an inspiring project. It must have touched thousands of lives. The desire for peace is universal. It saddens me that the effort is not as universal.

“The art developed and shared still hangs or is displayed in so many homes and countries. May the words and items continue to inspire and touch lives wherever they live.

“Create Arts Center has several exchange pieces on permanent display. Your work and efforts are sincerely appreciated.”
For peace, Joyce
