This "Dove" painting is the artwork we sent to Challenger Middle School for our first experience with the Global Art Project.
Marriette Brown, a friend of mine & artist, drew the outline of the Dove on a huge paper. She then cut it apart into 25 pieces; "puzzle pieces", and we, with our youth group, each finger-painted one of those pieces, then put it back together and displayed it as shown, in our church fellowship room for three weeks. Under it, we had a quote which reads: "I will write peace on your wings and you will fly all over the world." By Sadako Susaki.
We then folded it carefully and sent photos, quotes, peace messages and lots of love to Challenger Middle School. My prayers and all our loving energy is with it and we hope it will have the chance to be shared and displayed this summer and fall in Tucson for the children there! With Love & Peace & Thanks,
